Hi Everyone,
My sincerest apologies for my lack of communication via this Blog. Let's just say that my scribe has not been keeping up and since I am only four years old, there is only so much I can do.
So, let's see... what has happened since we last chatted??? Just before the beginning of summer, my dad took my friend Tien-Long and I to African Lion Safari. We had a great time and kept my dad entertained for the entire day! We saw lots of animals as we rode a train around the safari. At the end of June, I graduated from Nursery School in Dorchester. I am now heading to the big leagues, Junior Kindergarden at Academie de la Tamise. I have posted some photos from my graduation. I hope you like them.
This summer, I have been playing soccer every Saturday morning at The Marconi Club. My team is called Fiorentina and we wear purple jerseys. It has been a lot of fun! I have attached some photos from this year's soccer as well. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, I have been playing tee ball for North London Baseball. My team is called the Athletics and we wear green jerseys. I have learned to hit the ball, run around the bases, throw, and catch using a mitt. If you haven't had a chance, check out the video my dad posted on my Blog from my first tee ball game.
Other than sports, I have mostly been hanging out at the farm with my mom and "Joan grandma." Next weekend, I will be competing in a horse show at a farm called Railside View which is in Dutton, Ontario. I will be competing in the Lead Line class. I like walking around on horses and have even learned to trot a little. I am quite determined and prefer not to have my mom lead the horse around. I can do it on my own!
In September, I am heading of to maternelle (JK) at a French First Language school called, Academie de la Tamise. My parents believe that it will be good for me to learn French at a young age and I certainly have mastered the word "oui" and several others. Sometimes when we visit my school, I just say "oui" to pretty much everything. My mom says this may get me into trouble, but so far it has worked out alright.
One other highlight of this summer was when my mom and I traveled to Toronto on the train to visit our friend Caroline and her son Tyler. While we were in Toronto, we took a ferry to Centre Island and visited an amusement park called Centreville. Unfortunately, my mom forgot to bring her camera so you'll just have to imagine all of the fun I had :)
At some point this summer, my parents have said that we will go camping and sleep overnight in a tent. I can't wait to do that! My parents have said that we can bring my friend Tien-Long.
Finally, my dad and I have been doing a lot of swimming together in "Joan grandma's" pool. I can jump off the diving board with my water wings on, hold my breath under water, and even swim in the shallow end sans (that's French) water wings.
Well, I think that is it for now.
I hope you enjoy the pictures :)
Hugs and Kisses...
Cohen
